SNCFT (Tunisian Railways), Bombardier built MX624S Loco
060-DP-136 is
seen at Bir-Bou-Rekba with train 5-12/53 the morning express
from
Tunis-Ville - Gbes. Gbes is currently the most southern station in
Tunisia, and is on the edge of the Sahara desert. This batch of Locos
was
the last Diesels built from the long line of Locos under the
ALCO/MLW/Bombardier name. February 7th 1997.

MX624S number 060 DP 149 which had just failed whilst hauling the 13.00 Tunis Ville to Ghardimaou. The train was rescued by an MX620. The date is 08/11/01
060 DP 148 at Sfax on the 04/11/01. It's just backed on to the 13.05 Tunis Ville to Metlaoui service, having taken over from one of the new EMD loco's. Steve Worthington photo
