SNCFT's MX620

SNCFT Tunisian Railways, MLW built MX620
loco 060-DI-60 is seen at Selja with train 988, a loaded phosphate
train ready to descend the hill through the spectacular Copper Canyon,
en route to Metlaoui. One of twenty two Locos in service, sixteen are
used on the narrow gauge lines, the others work the standard gauge
route from Tunis to Ghardimaou. Photo taken on 5th December 1995.

SNCFT (Tunisian Railways), MLW built MX620 060-DI-59 is seen at Sfax
station with train 5/72, the mid-day express over the narrow gauge
lines to Tunis. This train is normally always powered by a Bombardier
DP class Locomotive. The line does not give any impression at all of
being narrow gauge most of the track is of a very high standard.
