"The rotary snow blower was pushed by one Kitson Meyer (1908) locomotive. These pictures were taken during the winter of 1978, in Portillo, Los Andes, Chile. Portillo is well known around the world due to its excellent ski fields"
"Many people in Los Andes, like myself, are fighting to preserve this equipment in a Transandine Museum but we don't enough money to do it, authorities are interested too, so I hope that in a couple of years we could have a nice Museum, with the old steam locomotives and some Brown Boveri electrical locomotives from 1927.
